We are a company dedicated to astrotourism and ecotourism, based in one of the most privileged natural enclaves of Menorca: the Algaiarens estate. From this unique setting, we invite you to discover the magic and natural and cultural richness of Menorca.

Starlight Destination and Reserve
Menorca is home to one of the cleanest, darkest and most spectacular night skies in the entire European continent. This extraordinary star visibility is no coincidence, but the direct result of strict environmental protection regulations, a low-density dispersed urban model and a deep ecological awareness across the island.
Thanks to its strong track record as a Biosphere Reserve, the territory has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the only island in the entire Mediterranean Sea to hold the dual certification of Starlight Destination and Reserve. This prestigious recognition, awarded by the Starlight Foundation and endorsed by UNESCO, rewards the exceptional purity of its skies and the quality of its observation nights.

Founder and CEO
Born in Galicia and a sailor at heart, he emigrated at 17. A nomad for 20 years, he has lived among tribes of the Amazon and Papua, crossed oceans and all 5 continents by bicycle.
Núria Galarza
Environmental Educator
Pedagogue and Environmental Educator passionate about caring for the environment. She trained as a Starlight guide and creates educational astronomy projects for schoolchildren.

Born and deeply connected to Menorca. Trained as an environmental educator and Starlight astronomical guide. Dedicated to sharing the value of Menorca's nature.
The founder
Javier Ares has explored remote areas around the world, from deserts free of artificial light to the latitudes where the sky becomes the absolute protagonist of human experience.
That journey brought him back to the Mediterranean, to the island of Menorca — a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and one of the few corners of Europe where the night sky still retains its original purity.
From La Vall, in the northern tip of the island, he created Polaris Menorca: a project that combines scientific rigour, love of nature and the art of storytelling under the stars.
